Holiday Inn Express & Suites Doral - Miami by IHG

Chose this hotel for a 1 night stay based on location its walking distance from Miami International mall and close enough to dolphin mall if using Uber or Lyft. Lots in the area food wise. Room was clean and spacious. Didn't seem like its much parking for rentals but it wasn't needed for me. Id definitely go back to this location for a nice shopping weekend.

If I could, I would rate this hotel 4.5 stars. We stayed here for two nights so that we could attend the opening games for Unrivaled. We're happy with our choice. The room we chose was pretty spacious, with a mini living room area. We were on the 4th floor, facing the parking lot. But we never heard any noise. Maybe we got lucky, but as a light sleeper, I was grateful to have a quiet room. The breakfast was just okay. There were limited selections, which I don't mind. I just wish the they were of higher grade. We didn't spend too much time at the hotel so I cannot speak to the pool/gym. The location was great for what we were trying to accomplish-- going to Unrivaled. It's also close to multiple malls and shopping plazas for those who like to shop. Lastly, the customer service was great. Everyone was friendly.

Stayed for one night and there was a room issue upon check-in that was immediately and effortlessly resolved thanks to Alex at the front desk -- not only that, but he was very welcoming and hospitable! The location was a fairly close drive to the malls and less than an hour to the Everglades.

Stayed here for 1 night before a cruise. Loved the location which allowed walking to a big mall, lots of food options, a wine store and a rental car place. Allowed us to easily spend a day exploring the Everglades. Kids loved the pool area but complained the temperature was cold. Beds and pillows were extremely firm so we did not sleep well. AC in room wouldn't turn down below 67 degrees.

If I could give more stars I definitely would! Just checked in this afternoon and I normally don't leave reviews but after the experience I've had the last few days in the South Florida area with IHG Hotels, this owner is doing it right! My last 2 hotels in this area have been absolutely horrible, but from the time I walked in the door at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Doral-Miami to getting into my room it was beyond wonderful! The front desk agent was wonderful at check in, the room is spacious and very clean. I am the VP of a Hotel Management Company myself and have IHG hotels in my portfolio and this hotel is exceeding the IHG Standards by far. Kudos to the Staff, GM, and Owners. You guys are doing it right! Thank you all for a great stay!

I loved the kindness of the lobby staff on the first day of January 25th. It's a little strange that the payment for the department has not been canceled yet after checking out, but one day it will be possible, right? I stayed in Kim When will the Deposit be canceled?

We only stayed one night on our way to a cruise. Alex at the front desk made us feel important, welcoming us a club members! He sets the gold standard for how someone should greet guests! The room was very clean, spacious, comfortable, and quiet. We had a great night sleep a good breakfast and ready to board our ship. By the way the location is really nice. 20 minutes to the ports a long with shopping and many food choices within walking distance!

We had a great 1 night stay at the Holiday Inn Express Doral. We chose it for it's competitive price as we needed just 1 night and the rest of our vacation was expensive. It is very updated and clean; easily one of the cleanest hotels we have stayed in and there were lots of choices for breakfast plus a fancy coffee machine. It is about 20-30 minutes from the beaches/port but still a fun area.
